Woke up 4.40am for my 2nd jog within this week. 3 days to go before my WildRun at Mardi, Serdang this Sunday. The waist pain has reduced much. Will go for last jog this Friday.
I have stopped jogging for almost 3 weeks. The last jogging was on 12/8/18. Went for my camping and hiking trip from 18/8/18 to 20/8/18. Then found myself having stomachache the next day after the trip. Seemed that I was infected by virus for drinking the stream water up in the mountain. Went to consult doctor and got a medical leave with some medicines. Rested for a week.
Having bad luck or my bad kamar :) Sprained my back waist on last Sunday while doing my plumbing works at home. So, have an excuse not to jog for the whole week again .
Though not fully recovered, I tried to have a jog this morning as I have a running event this Sunday. If the pain still persist, then I have to let go this Sunday's event. However, after the run, there was not much of pain at the waist. But I need to see the condition on Wednesday after my 2nd jog. If the pain goes away....then very likely I can go for the running event. Let's see........
Woke up early, around 6.30am this morning. Kids also woke up at 6.45am. After praying and chanting, decided to bring kids to Bukit Jalil Park for a morning walk. Kids were so happy when I told them this.
Both want to take a picture at the peak of the park.
Felt tired yesterday after taken a light dinner. After reading some news, went to bed about 9pm , kids was still playing in the bedroom but that didn't bother me very much. Woke up at 4.40am and found my neck was painful, seem like sprain my neck during my sleep...don't care much, went out to jog after cleaning myself. Really felt uncomfortable during the jog as I could feel the pain. Hopefully the pain can go away after a few days.
I donated my blood yesterday and this morning resume my jogging. There are people out there said that one should take a few days rest after donating blood. To proof these people wrong, I jogged right after one day, even less than 24 hours....and I was able to run for 5km and am feeling good. So, do not believe until you proof it yourself. Yes, I did hear doctor advice that we should not have aggressive activities or exercise on the same day after donating blood.
So, it's rather an excuse for not getting back to work after donating blood. I mean to me :) :)
Supposed to have a soccer game with some friends, started to rain at 4.45pm, followed by thunder storm, my soccer game was cancelled. At 6pm, the rain stopped. Decided to go for jogging. I had a roti telor bawang this morning and fried kuey teow in the afternoon around 3.30pm. Stomach was feeling not so good during the run. Many times, my devil mind told me to stop at 3km 👊but the angel mind encouraged me not to........finally, completed 5km. 😉
Yes, it's Friday. Time flies.....Have I made used of the time in the past few days ? Yes, one of the things I done was telling myself no matter how tire or sleepy, I must woke up and go for the jog.
So, I done it again this morning....started my jog at 4:54am. And I jogged faster today compare to the pace I did on Wednesday. Can I keep up with this pace ?
After resting for 2 days, time to get back to the track......as usual, woke up at 4.40am and went out for my regular jogging. Surprisingly, my badly injured leg does not give me any problem during the jog. It only hurts a bit when I want to fully bend the knee.
It's been quite some times I did not post my jogging news...... Here I am again. Woke up 4.40am morning, as usual, was in a sleepy mood and wanted to sleep more. Once started the jog.....sleepy mood gone but the pace was slow.
Less than 2 weeks before the 2018 Standard Chartered Marathon. Not sure my running condition for my very first half-marathon, that's 21km. Am I getting enough training ?
The Sunday's football game was called off due to lack of members. Instead of resting 2 days, rested 1 day and went for a jog this morning. Weather was good though could not see the sky but could feel the temperature was lower than the normal day. Maybe it's raining season now.....True enough, the temperature recorded by the watch was 28.5 Celsius.
While on my way to office, the rain started. Nice weather, it reminded me the weather in New Zealand.
After a few years away from this jogging track. Back again this evening after my work. Not much changes, part of the tracks are not properly maintained. But it's still a popular park for many people to do jogging, exercise, gathering here.
More than a week did not go jogging. The leg muscles were recuperating and health was not that good. Last Wednesday was Deepavali and happened that I was in Metro Kepong shopping mall and there was a blood donation campaign. Donated mine as I was due to donate on 15 Oct after my last donation 3 months ago.
Anyway, really not in a good condition to do the jog but still forced myself to complete 4km distance. Super slow pace.
Missed my jogging for 2 days.....told myself no matter what, have to jog today, else I will not jog for the next 2 days because tomorrow is Saturday and then Sunday. I want to wake up slightly late instead of 6am or 6.30am just for the jog. Can't help for the pace.....just let it be and see I can increase the pace on my next running event...Hari Sukan Negara run on 14 Oct.
