It's Han swimming class today. Weather was not good, drizzling when leaving home, not sure if the class will be canceled later. Arrived at Panasonic Sport Complex, very cloudy from far side. Proceeded to the swimming pool, class started as usual.....about 20 minutes later, rain started, class continued until hearing thunder from far side....life guard whistled, all people has to come out from the swimming pool. The teacher told us to wait until for news whether the class would be canceled and be replaced. We waited for about 20 minutes and finally the class was called off and we would be informed later for the replacement class.
Me and Han stranded at the sport complex for about 30 minutes as I did not bring umbrella. I did ask Han to wait for me at the drop off area so that I can drive the car over but she refused though there were children and guard waiting there. She is a timid girl whereas Xuan is more daring.
The rain did not stop along the way home. When we reached at Section 26 Industrial Park, cars were slowing down and saw few cars halted at the road side. This is a flooding prone area due to poor drainage system.
Cars slowing down...
At least a foot height of water covering the road, small or sedan cars may face challenge to cross it.
Some cars are turning left to avoid the flood.
Why the local council does not take any action to rectify the problem ? I believe this has been happening for sometimes.....or they just want to wait until election time ? This is a norm in our Boleh Land...... we have to live with it.
