Jogging @ 28/3/18

It's been quite some times I did not post my jogging news...... Here I am again. Woke up 4.40am morning, as usual, was in a sleepy mood and wanted to sleep more. Once started the jog.....sleepy mood gone but the pace was slow.

Less than 2 weeks before the 2018 Standard Chartered Marathon. Not sure my running condition for my very first half-marathon, that's 21km. Am I getting enough training ? 

Milan City Square (Piazza del Duomo) - 6/3/18

On the 2nd day, the planned schedule was to visit a company. Was not really having good sleep yesterday night.

Lunch here after a visit to one of the factories.

Tuna pizza for one person....but certainly not for me.

Most of the buildings are very unique.

RunWild @ Paradize Valley - 25/3/18

My 2nd time to participate in this event. Last run was on 3/12/17 at MARDI. A totally different experience compare to running on the road. Not only stamina but perseverance as well. I started to like such event and look forward for next event in July.

The run was held at Paradise Valley in Semenyih, it is located further inside after the Broga Hill. It was very well-organized by a gentleman name, Mike. All participants were giving a briefing before the run started, including the marking at each point and junction up on the hills.

Comparing to the normal on-the-road running event, the participants for this is lesser. Maybe they do not like to run off-road ?

It's 7.21am, almost time to flag off.

Completed my run at about 8.45am.

9.23km @ 1 hour 13 minutes. What is my position in my category, will find out later.

 9th place among 22 runners in this category. Not bad huh  :)

Milan - 5/3/18

The 1st day in Milan, we have to check out and itinerary was to visit 3 companies. Did not have a good sleep at night, maybe I have jet lag, woke up at 3am local time, chatted with my daughter using Wechat and slept back at 5am, woke up at 7pm again. After cleaning and packing the luggage, went down for breakfast, departure time to first company was at 8.30am.

 The journey took about 1.5 hours to arrive the 1st company.

Hell Beer, tasted like heaven.

After visited to 3 companies, arrived to Hotel Touring, Livigno about 6pm.

From KLIA to Mila Airport - 4/3/18

It was my first trip to Europe after so many years......the only country I had been was Scotland and it was about 25 years ago and also not on vacation nor business trip, anyway, a good memory then 😉.

Dubai is 4 hours behind Malaysia and Italy & Switzerland is 7 hours behind Malaysia. 

About 6 hours flight to Dubai for transit.

Breakfast at KLIA.....only the bowl is big....

Waiting for boarding at Dubai airport, local time is 2.13pm (6.13pm Malaysian time).

Finally, arrived Milan airport 8pm (3am Malaysian time).

 Weather is 2°C, cooler than what I had experience in in Auckland, whereby the winter lowest was 12°C.

 Check-in a hotel, less than 10km from Milan airport but the taxi fare was €40 to take 5 of us to here, expensive.

 After all dine, have our dinner (or supper since it's 0pm local time) at the hotel's restaurant but to us is early breakfast since the time in Malaysia now is 5am.
