Chinese New Year @ Tampin & Malacca

Papa said this tangerine is a sign of good luck, so many families will buy and put at the front house.

 A uninvited visitor flied into grandma house....

 This uncle is selling a type of candy wrapped with honey (Maltose) by a traditional way...papa said in Chinese we called it  麥牙糖

We went to this Cheng Hoon Teng temple (青雲亭) to pray

The carvings on the roof top are so great...

This is another temple opposite the Cheng Hoon Teng temple.

We then went to a shop in Jonker Walk to eat Cendol..

So many cars......

 Papa saw a Jonker Boutique hotel there....

 Big uncle came back from UK to celebrate CNY bought us a lunch at Sushi King in Jusco Malacca

PJ Kwan In Teng

On the first day of Lunar New Year, my papa and mama brought me to Kwan Inn Teng in Petaling Jaya to pray and see lion dance. They asked me to wear a cheaongsam so that I could look like a real ancient china girl. :)  The cheaongsam was given to me as souvenir by my cousin Mei from Shanghai...it looked so pretty, heheheh... 

But when we reached there at about 9am, there were not many people. Papa said compared to last year, the people were lesser, no lion dance also. 

I was a bit disappointed for not having a chance to see Lion Dance this year. However, papa said he would look see look see whether other places has lion dance or not and bring me there.

We prayed to Kwan Inn, Papa said I became the Kwan Inn's godchild when I was still in the hospital after my mama gave birth to me.

This is a formal one....

CNY Lantern @ Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall

Last Sunday evening, I brought my little angel to Sunway Pyramid to see the lanterns. Initially, she wanted to go to Puchong IOI for the Marry Go Round but after seeing the pretty lanterns...she wanted to go down for a walk. It was drizzling...while in the car, I asked her...

"Do you want to go I.I. Mall (should be IOI mall but she pronounced it her way as II mall) or see lantern ?"

"Mmmm....see lantern....then later go II mall..."

"Nope....you can choose only one.."

She repeated the same sentence..."Mmmm....see lantern....then later go II mall..."

"Nope....choose one only oh...."

"Mmm.....see lantern..." She replied in a little disappointed sound.....

Finally, we parked our car at Sunway Tower Hotel.....

While waiting for her mother in rest room....she came to me and said........

 Papa....can I have a photo warm up session first ? Sure darling......

She saw 2 elephants that were decorated with beautiful lights also but due to drizzling, we could not walk out from the mall.

The rain stopped later...we managed to take few pictures before we walked back to the main hall in Sunway Pyramid.

While carrying her, I pointed the big Lion head to her...."see, this is a Lion..."

"Lion...Han Han does not scare lion oh..."

"Yes...Han Han big girl already mah...."

Was thinking to take a shot of her together with the Big Mandarin Orange Tree but she ended up.....

Time to set up a blog for my angel

I had been thinking of creating a blog or website so that I can document my little angel's life. She came into our world since March 2010. Now she is 3 years old.

Time really flies...... we are expecting our second angel to join our family by May this year....

Each time, when I look at my first angel face, when I see her plays, see how she react, it reminds me that I should not procrastinate again to build a blog for her....all the great moments will be gone soon, the only way I can capture all the wonderful things is to snap pictures and write them down so that when she grows up, she will have the chance to look back her life.
